New Renaissance or New Dark Ages?

I think that we are at a point in society where we are either going to drop into a new dark age or kick off a new renaissance. We need to get people together and get their imaginations and excitment going. I just started the Renaissance Farms Tribe for people who want to kick around ideas about how we can do this. We can wake up the adults and start the kids off right. Stop by and drop off some ideas?

i'm hoping it's going to be a new rennaissance. i think the thing that is really important is that we really need to get people who want a new future connected. and i think tribe and the internet in general is great at doing this! we also need to believe in ourself and our abilities... yes, one person CAN make a difference! it's easy to get discouraged, but we still gotta keep trying...

Eileen, I used to think that just what could I do as one person but now I see that what I do and who I do it with can have a big impact on people.

If things are to get better we all with like ideas are going to have to make the changes that need to be made by taking steps in that direction. Banding together if the right idea.

One thing that we need to remember is that Social change does not happen quickly. The things that we do may have noticable effects if we can get enough of us working together but I am actually expecting major changes to start when our kids and grandkids are in our position.

The more people we have and the more organized we are the more we will accomplish. So spread the word to everyone you know. Ask them if they are satisfied with how the world is turning. Ask for even the smallest amount of their time to get involved. If nothing else keep them thinking about it and when we get some kind of organization going then we can ask for a little bit of their time (and believe me I know about having not enough time) Every little bit will help.
